About
In my GRPH 200 class, Image Making, I was given an assignment to create a set of three 3x3" compositions of three related objects. The compositions were meant to function as a set in any order, in any configuration. The challenge was to utilize consistency to establish the set but test the limits of variety to create three solutions that hold together while still being individually unique and interesting. While creating this colorful, eclectic set, I used acrylic paints and took inspiration from musicians such as the Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, and the Beatles. On my own, I then digitized the set using Adobe Illustrator. Later, I animated the digital version using Adobe After Effects.
