Be Here Now

About

For a personal project, I decided to redesign the app Be Here Now by the Love Serve Remember Foundation. The Love Serve Remember Foundation is dedicated to preserving and continuing the teachings of Neem Karoli Baba and Ram Dass. The foundation facilitates the continuation of these teachings through online courses, blog content, films, podcasts, social network channels and collaborative projects with conscious artists and musicians. For this redesign, I created a visual identity that exudes a sense of simplicity and timelessness while also maintaining the feelings of love and spiritual awareness that the brand is known for. The logo and color palette are a subtle nod to Ram Dass' beginnings as a pioneer of the psychedelic movement in the 1960s and 70s, while the sans-serif typeface and ample use of white space keep the design feeling clean and modern. I designed my prototype using Adobe XD.
